Q. What is the fee schedule for counseling?
A. Counseling fees are on a income schedule. Fees start at $75 per session for income less than $40,000 and increase by $10 per $10,000 of income. Marriage and family start at $90.00 per session for income less than $40,000 and increase by $10 per $10,000 of income. There is some financial help for those who come with referral from their Pastor or Clergy. Q. Do you take any insurance plansA. We do not take insurance directly, but act as out of network provider for most companies. We will provide all the information you need to submit your claim for reimbursement. We suggest you check with your insurance company to see what they will provide.
Q. How many sessions will I attend and how long are the sessions?A. We try to do all therapy as short term, which means 6 - 10 sessions. If situations are more complex, then the duration of session will be in agreement between the therapist and the client. Sessions are for one hour and are generally once a week.
Q. Do you have a psychiatrist on staff?A. We do not, but we work with several Christian psychiatrist in New York that we refer to directly.
